4 month pictures

Here are some pictures taken on November 17th, Silas' 4 month birthday!!
He is getting so big. I don't know how much he weighs, but it's got to be about 18 pounds or so. We go to the pediatrician again soon, so we'll post that info when we've got it.
In other news...Silas rolled over!!! Yahoo. What a big boy! That was so exciting! He has also started to grab his feet which is so cute.

the life of a baby

Three and a half months:

Silas is just so much fun! He is really just interacting so much more and enjoys singing and standing up (with a little help, of course!) The cats are fascinating to him and he loves going for walks outside. He now laughs at funny things we do for him, which is THE best. I'm just glad that no one really hears all the things I say during the day because I really sound like a moron...ha ha.

visiting cousins

The weekend before Halloween, Silas got to go to south Georgia and visit his cousins Emily and Ethan. We had a really fun time with them. Emily is just crazy about Silas, and I know that Ethan and Silas will be big buddies as they grow up. There is also a good picture of Ethan and Crackerjack, the horse that currently lives at the new house that Pat and Shellie (Emily and Ethan's parents) just bought.

Tallulah Gorge pictures

Here are some pictures from our hike at Tallulah Gorge in late October. The hike down to the river was basically a ton of steps, but the "trail" along the river was fun. There really was no trail, but more like hopping rocks for a mile or so. The fall colors were just beginning to turn, and the weather was absolutely perfect. Just look at the color of the sky!! I even got to climb up on a huge rock. Yay.
We had a great time and it was fun to get back outdoors. Thanks to Grammy who had a fun morning playing with Super Silas while we had our date!
